Letitia Anderson

Letitia L. Anderson, M.D.

Dr. Anderson attended medical school at University of Vermont, graduating in 2000. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Brown University in Providence RI, as well as a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. Dr Anderson is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Cardiology. She is also certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology.


Theodore Berndt

Theodore B. Berndt, M.D., F.A.C.C., FSCAI

Education
Dr. Berndt attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, as both an undergraduate and for Medical School, graduating in 1966. He completed a Medical Residency Program at the same university, as well as a one-year fellowship in Cardiology. Dr. Berndt received an additional fellowship in Cardiology training at Stanford University.

Interests
Dr. Berndt's areas of interest include the treatment of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, echocardiography including vascular services, and risk factor modification.

Association
Dr. Berndt is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography & Intervention. He has also served as president of the Nevada Heart Association, and governor for the state of Nevada for the American College of Cardiology. Since 1991, he has served on the Board of Directors for Renown Health Systems. Dr. Berndt has been with Reno Heart Physicians since 1976.


Thomas Davee

Thomas S. Davee, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education
Dr. DaVee attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating in 1966. He spent a year as an intern in medicine at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, before serving as a medical officer with the Indian Health Service in Chinle, Arizona (Navajo Reservation). From Arizona, Dr. Davee went to the University of Colorado where he spent 3 years training in Internal Medicine, and was board certified in 1972. For the next 13 years, he was an Internist Intensivist in Flagstaff, Arizona. He completed his Cardiology fellowship in San Diego (USNR-R) Naval Hospital and became Board Certified in Cardiology in 1987.

Interests
Dr. DaVee's areas of interest include the treatment of congestive heart failure, pacemaker placement, and new patient evaluations.

Association
Dr. DaVee is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a member of the Washoe County Medical Association, Nevada State Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Since 1998, he has also served as the Medical Director of Cardiology Services at Saint Marys Regional Medical Center. Dr. DaVee has been with Reno Heart Physicians since 1989.


Richard Ganchan

Richard P. Ganchan, M.D., F.A.C.C., FSCAI

Education
Dr. Ganchan attended undergraduate school at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and medical school at Baylor University of the same city, graduating in 1968. Dr. Ganchan completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Utah in 1972, as well as his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Utah in 1976. He became Board Certified in Cardiology in 1977.

Interests
Dr. Ganchan's areas of interest include acute cardiac care, and the treatment of congestive heart failure. Additionally, he has long term experience in invasive cardiology, including angioplasty and stent deployment.

Association
Dr. Ganchan is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography & Intervention. He has also served as President of the Nevada Heart Association. Since 1996, he has been the Medical Director of Cardiology Nursing and Co-Director of the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at Renown Medical Center. Dr. Ganchan has been with Reno Heart Physicians since 1976.


John Grinsell

John W. Grinsell, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education
Dr. John Grinsell attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Nevada, Reno. His Internal Medicine and General Cardiology training was completed at the University of Kansas, Kansas City, Kansas. In June 2009, Dr. Grinsell completed an additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology with emphasis in peripheral vascular disease at the University of Colorado. Prior to his medical education, Dr. Grinsell served two years in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1989.

Interests
Dr. Grinsell's areas of interest include cardiac catheterization and intervention, echocardiography, and of course peripheral vascular intervention.

Association
Dr. Grinsell is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Grinsell joined Reno Heart Physicians in August of 2003.


Jake Ichino

Jake H. Ichino, M.D., F.A.C.C., FSCAI

Education
Dr. Ichino attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Nevada, graduating in 1994. He also completed his Internal Medicine residency, including a chief resident year, at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1998. He then performed his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Nebraska in 2001 and became Board Certified in Cardiology in 2002. Dr. Ichino completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Nebraska in 2002 and became Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology in 2005.

Interests
Dr. Ichino's area of interest includes the treatment of coronary artery disease with a focus on invasive cardiology, including angioplasty and stent deployment.

Association
Dr. Ichino is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Ichino joined Reno Heart Physicians in August of 2002.


Anita Kedia

Anita Kedia, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education
Dr. Kedia attended medical school at Louisiana State University Medical Center, graduating in 1998. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, as well as a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. Dr Kedia served as Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.

Interests
Dr. Kedias interests include invasive, non-interventional cardiology.

Christopher Lambert

Christopher M. Lambert, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education
Dr. Lambert attended undergraduate school at Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Wisconsin, and medical school at the University of Nebraska, graduating in 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Medical Residency at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation in LaCrosse, Wisconsin in 2000, becoming Board Certified in 2001. Dr. Lambert also performed his Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Nebraska in 2003. He also has a Masters in Exercise Physiology from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse.

Interests
Dr. Lambert’s interests include Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization, Echocardiography including Vascular Services, Preventive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Larry Noble

Larry M. Noble, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education
Dr. Noble attended undergraduate school at the University of Nevada, Reno, and medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating in 1975. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Medical Residency at UCLA finishing his training and Board Certification in 1978. Dr. Noble also performed his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1980 and became Board Certified in Cardiology in 1981.

Dr. Noble's areas of interest include interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and clinical cardiology.

Dr. Noble is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the Washoe County Medical Association, the Nevada State Medical Association. He has served as the Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Saint Marys Regional Medical Center since 1992. Dr. Noble has been with Reno Heart Physicians since 1984.


Chanwit Roongsritong

Chanwit Roongsritong, M.D. F.A.C.C.

Dr. Roongsritong attended medical school at Pramongkutklao College of Medicine in Bangkok Thailand, graduating in 1982. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program and a Fellowship in Cardiology at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Dr. Roongsritong was the Associate Director of Cardiology at Texas Tech and is Board Certified in Cardiology.


Richard Seher

Richard P. Seher, M.D., F.A.C.C., FSCAI

Education
Dr. Seher was raised in Nevada and attended undergraduate school at the University of Nevada, Reno. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1979, and completed his internship and medical residency in both Reno and the University of Utah. Dr. Seher performed his fellowship in cardiology at the University of California, Davis Medical Center.

Interests
Dr. Seher's areas of interest include interventional cardiology, the treatment of lipid disorders and pacemaker placement and follow-up.

Dr. Seher is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography & Intervention. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the Nevada State Medical Association. He has served as Chairman of the Cardiology Section at Saint Marys Regional Medical Center since 2003. Dr. Seher joined Reno Heart Physicians in 1985.


David Smith

David E. Smith, M.D., F.A.C.C. A

Interests
Dr. Smith has been with Reno Heart Physicians since 1996. Dr. Smiths interests include electrophysiology, treatment of cardiac rhythm abnormalities, and placement of cardiac rhythm devices (pacemakers and defibrillators).

Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE) and is board certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the Washoe County Medical Association and the Nevada State Medical Association.


Robert Swackhamer

Robert D. Swackhamer, M.D., F.A.C.C., FSCAI

Education
Dr. Swackhamer attended undergraduate school at Linfield College and medical school at the University of Nevada, Reno, graduating in 1981. He also completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Nevada, Reno in 1984, and was Board Certified in Internal Medicine that same year. Dr. Swackhamer completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1989 and completed his Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology in 2002.

Dr. Swackhamer's areas of interest include interventional cardiology and a commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Stanley I. Thompson, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Thompson attended undergraduate school at the University of Denver and medical school at the University of Louisville, graduating in 1970. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland in 1974. Dr. Thompson performed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego in 1976 and obtained his Board Certification in Cardiology in 1977.

Dr. Thompson's areas of interest include invasive cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and administrative medicine.

John Williamson

John S. Williamson, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education
Dr. Williamson attended undergraduate and medical school at Stanford University, graduating in 1972. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Utah in 1975 and his Fellowship in Cardiology in 1977, obtaining his Board Certification in Cardiology that same year. Dr. Williamson served two years in the Army as Chief of Cardiology at Walsh Army Hospital at Fort Dix, New Jersey.

Dr. Williamson's areas of interest include echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and clinical cardiology.

Jerry Zebrack

Jerry N. Zebrack, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Education
Dr. Zebrack attended undergraduate school at the University of Southern California and medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating in 1965. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Georgetown University, followed by a Medical Residency at the University of Oregon in 1970. Dr. Zebrack concluded his Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1972 and became Board Certified in Cardiology in 1975.

Dr. Zebrack's areas of interest include exercise physiology, cardiac pacemakers, and lipid disease management.

Amy Booth

Amy Booth, M.S., A.P.N., A.A.C.C.

Education
Amy Booth, M.S., A.P.N. attended undergraduate school at Saint Olaf College, graduating in 1991. She completed her Masters degree in Nursing, as well as Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, from Vanderbilt University in 1996. She also has her Masters in Public Health from Boston University. She worked in primary care for six years, as well as taught graduate nursing courses at the University of Nevada, Reno for four years. Amy joined Reno Heart Physicians in 2002. Amy is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and is an associate member of the American College of Cardiology.


Sharmisa Martin

Sharmisa Martin, M.S., R.N., A.P.N

Education
Sharmisa C. Martin, M.S., A.P.N. earned an Associate degree in 1981. In 1987, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She has fifteen years of experience working as an Emergency and Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse. Sharmisa completed her Masters degree in Nursing, with Family Nurse Practitioner certification at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1997, followed by five years experience in Internal Medicine. Sharmisa joined Reno Heart Physicians in 2001.


Sharon Mattioli

Sharon Mattioli, M.S., A.P.N.

Education
Sharon Mattioli, M.S., A.P.N. received a Diploma in Nursing from Saint James Community School of Nursing in Butte, Montana in 1970. Following years of practice in Critical Care, Home Care and Hospice, she completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Orvis School of Nursing in Reno, NV in 1995. She continued at University of Nevada and achieved her Masters of Science in Nursing in 1997 as a Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Specialist and in 2003, her Post-Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Sharon has been certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2003. Sharon joined Reno Heart Physicians in 2006.
